Reusable Non-Stick Air Fryer Liner – Square and Rectangle Sizes

Stop Scrubbing the Basket

The basket is the part of the air fryer that takes the longest to clean. Food sticks to the base and the sides, grease bakes into the mesh, and getting it properly clean after every use takes longer than the cooking itself. A liner sits inside the basket before the food goes in and takes all of that. When you are done cooking, the food comes out, the liner cools down, and you wipe it clean in a few seconds. The basket underneath stays clean.

These liners are made from PTFE — the same non-stick material used on quality cookware — and are perforated across the surface so hot air still circulates underneath and around the food the way it is supposed to in an air fryer. You get the clean basket without losing the cooking performance.

Three sizes are available to suit different air fryer basket dimensions. Choose the size that matches your basket for a proper fit.

Available Sizes

  • 19cm x 19cm Square — suits smaller square basket air fryers. Rounded corners follow the internal shape of a standard square basket without buckling or lifting at the edges
  • 21.5cm x 21.5cm Square — larger square format for bigger basket models. Same perforated PTFE construction, wider coverage across the basket base
  • 21cm x 14cm Rectangle — suits drawer-style rectangular basket air fryers. Longer narrow shape follows the footprint of a rectangular basket rather than a square one

If you are not sure which size fits your air fryer, measure the internal base of the basket from inside wall to inside wall before ordering. The liner should sit flat on the base without folding up the sides.

Design and Build

  • PTFE non-stick surface on both faces — food releases cleanly without sticking, oil and grease sit on the surface rather than baking into the material, and wiping clean after use takes a few seconds rather than several minutes of scrubbing
  • Perforated across the full surface — the holes allow hot air to pass through the liner and circulate underneath the food, which is what makes air frying work. A solid liner without holes would block airflow and produce steamed, soft results rather than the crisp finish an air fryer is designed for
  • Rounded corners on the square versions follow the internal curve of most standard air fryer baskets — the liner sits flat rather than pushing up at the corners
  • Heat resistant to temperatures used in standard air frying — suitable for air fryer use, oven use, microwave use and freezer storage
  • Reusable — not a disposable liner that goes in the bin after one use. Wipe clean after each session and reuse repeatedly

In Use

  • Place the liner flat on the base of the air fryer basket before adding food — it should sit flat without folding or bunching. If it is lifting at the edges, add the food on top immediately to weight it down before starting the cycle
  • Cook as normal — the perforations allow full air circulation so cooking performance is not affected by the liner being in place
  • Do not use the liner without food on top of it — a lightweight liner with nothing weighing it down can lift and contact the heating element during the preheat cycle
  • When the cooking cycle is done and the liner has cooled to a safe handling temperature, remove it from the basket and wipe clean with a damp cloth or kitchen paper
  • No soaking, no scrubbing, no washing up liquid needed in most cases — the PTFE surface releases residue cleanly once the liner has cooled

What You Can Cook on It

  • Chips and potato wedges — the most common air fryer use and one where a liner makes the biggest difference, keeping the coating and any seasoning on the food rather than baked onto the basket
  • Chicken pieces, nuggets and breaded fish — breaded coatings that would stick to an unlined basket release cleanly from the PTFE surface
  • Vegetables — roasted peppers, courgette, broccoli, cherry tomatoes — the liner catches any juices and charred bits without them burning into the basket
  • Pastry and baked items — sausage rolls, puff pastry parcels, small tarts — anything with a pastry base that would otherwise stick and tear when lifted
  • Bacon, sausages and meat — the liner catches the fat that renders out during cooking and keeps it off the basket base

Where Else These Get Used

  • Oven trays and roasting tins — the liner sits on a baking tray in the same way it sits in an air fryer basket, acting as a non-stick surface for roasting and baking
  • Microwave — safe for microwave use as a surface liner under food that might splatter or stick
  • Steamer baskets — the perforated surface allows steam through while preventing small food items falling through the holes in the steamer rack
  • Bake cake tins as a base liner — trim to size if needed and use as a base liner in a baking tin to prevent sticking

Practical Notes

  • Wait until the liner is fully cool before wiping — PTFE surface cleans most easily once it has returned to room temperature rather than while still warm
  • Do not use sharp metal utensils directly on the liner surface — metal will scratch PTFE over time and reduce the non-stick effectiveness
  • Dishwasher safe — the liner holds up through dishwasher cycles, though hand wiping after each use is typically all that is needed
  • Do not fold or crease the liner for storage — store flat or rolled loosely to prevent the PTFE surface cracking along a sharp fold line over time
  • Replace when the surface shows visible scratching or when food starts to stick — the non-stick performance reduces gradually with heavy use and sharp utensil contact

Available Options

  • 19cm x 19cm Square PTFE perforated air fryer liner
  • 21.5cm x 21.5cm Square PTFE perforated air fryer liner
  • 21cm x 14cm Rectangle PTFE perforated air fryer liner

All versions: reusable, non-stick PTFE, perforated, oven and microwave safe, wipe clean
