A Pressure Cooker That Cuts Your Cooking Time in Half

The same meal. The same ingredients. Done in a fraction of the usual time. That's what a pressure cooker does, and this one does it reliably across six sizes — from a compact 3-litre suitable for one or two people, all the way up to a 13-litre pot built for large households, regular batch cooking, or feeding a crowd.

Every size is made from heavy duty polished aluminium — a material that heats quickly, distributes that heat evenly across the base, holds up to daily use without degrading, and cleans up faster than most other pot materials after a long cook. The polished finish resists staining and doesn't absorb food smells over time.

What's on Every Pot Across the Full Range

Self-locking Bakelite handles sit on either side of every model. The self-locking mechanism means the lid cannot be opened while pressure is still present inside the pot — one of the most important safety features on any pressure cooker and one that this range treats as standard rather than optional. The Bakelite material stays cool during cooking so you can grip the handles at any point without burning yourself.

The safety valve monitors internal pressure throughout the cooking process and releases excess automatically if levels go beyond the designed range. You don't have to watch the pot or adjust anything — it handles that on its own.

The anti-blocking vent cover addresses one of the most common failure points on cheaper pressure cookers. Food particles and liquid can work their way into the vent mechanism and block it during cooking. The design of this vent cover prevents that from happening, keeping the release pathway clear from start to finish.

Quick pressure release means that when cooking is done, you press the release and the pressure drops fast. You're not waiting around for the pot to cool down gradually before you can open it — it releases in seconds and the lid unlocks immediately after.

The non-slippery interior surface is temperature resistant and resists food sticking to the base, which matters both for the quality of what you're cooking and for how long cleanup takes afterwards.

Picking the Right Size

3 litre — one or two people. Good for vegetables, rice, smaller portions of lentils or dhal, and side dishes. Fits easily on any hob and stores in most kitchen cupboards without taking up much space.

5 litre — two to three people. The standard household size for couples or small families who cook most meals from scratch rather than batch cooking.

7 litre — three to four people. The family size. Fits a whole chicken, a substantial curry, a full pot of biryani, or a generous batch of soup.

9 litre — four to six people. Suited to larger families or anyone who regularly cooks in bigger quantities to have meals ready through the week.

11 litre — six to eight people. For households that cook for a lot of people regularly, or anyone who wants to batch cook seriously and freeze large portions.

13 litre — eight to twelve people. The largest in the range. Used for big family gatherings, events, community cooking, or any situation where you're feeding a significant number of people in one sitting.

What Cooks Better in a Pressure Cooker

Dried beans and lentils that usually need overnight soaking and two hours of boiling are done in twenty-five to thirty minutes. Tough meat cuts — lamb shanks, brisket, oxtail — that need three to four hours of slow cooking become properly tender in under an hour. A full pot of biryani or layered rice dish that would take constant attention on the hob cooks evenly and hands-off in forty minutes.

The flavours also concentrate differently under pressure. Stocks develop more depth, pulses take on more texture, and curries come together with a richness that longer hob cooking sometimes loses through evaporation.

Hob Compatibility

Works on gas, electric, ceramic, and halogen hobs. Check your specific hob type before purchase if you are unsure — induction hobs require a magnetic base which this aluminium range does not have.

Easy to Keep Clean

The interior surface resists food sticking and cleans without needing to soak. Wash by hand with warm soapy water and dry fully before storing. The exterior polished aluminium wipes clean with a damp cloth — no specialist cleaning products needed.
